Pig War is fortunate to have a Pipe & Drum Corps at its heart. The band is composed of individual SAMS members who have studied their musical instruments and band craft. On occasion we host non-member guest musicians. We are a non-competition performance and service band that includes musicians of varying competency levels.

Due to the logistics of our members, we do not hold regular practices at this time. We are not an instructional band, however we may be able to assist members in finding private instruction which may include Pig War band members. The ability to play pipes or drums is not a requirement for membership in our unit, however it is for full participation in the music corps. Musicians must prove a minimum skill level to perform with the Pig War band.
