SAMS and Pig War #1859
wants you as a Member!

The Scottish-American Military Society includes members throughout the US and overseas.  Pig War has its own little corner of the map, serving NW Washington and lower Vancouver BC.  We are active throughout the year and we look forward to your participation and camaraderie.  We work and we play.  While Pig War has a pipe & drum corps at its center, all members of SAMS are welcome — there is a place for every member in Pig War!

Who is Eligible?

Membership is open to honorably discharged veterans or active duty or reserve military persons who have served or are serving with any branch of the US Armed Forces.

• Present or former Regular or Reserve members of the US Armed Forces.  Individuals who have been discharged or released from duty must not have received a less than honorable discharge.
• Cadets of any of the Armed Service Academies or college level ROTC.
• Spouse, widow, widower, or lineal descendants of past or present member of US Armed Forces or ROTC Cadet.
• Members of the British Commonwealth Armed Forces.

How do eligible individuals become members?

Please see the Scottish-American Military Society membership page for further details and to apply.  Feel free to contact Pig War once you have sent in your membership application so that we may begin to bring you onboard.  Annual dues for Pig War may be collected upon joining #1859.  You may also join SAMS and Pig War through most events where #1859 is participating.
